Sanguine Prophecy was formed in June of 2006 by a group of friends from another MMO, Anarchy Online.

We strive to be a close group of players, committed to maximizing our potential in endgame raiding, while keeping a balanced perspective on the game.

Sanguine Prophecy is continuously looking for players to add to our community – applicants are expected to share our high standards, to interact in guild chat and vent, and to commit to the success of the guild.

Applying to SP

To apply to Sanguine Prophecy, please read the Application Guidelines, and follow the Application Outline. Officers and members review all applications, and will contact you with our decision. Accepted applicants enter an Initiate period, in which all members discuss their attitude and performance in a review thread on the member forums. The initiate period is not a fixed period of time, but is typically no shorter than 2-3 weeks. Initiates accumulate DKP like members, but cannot bid against members until promotion.

Raid Schedule

We currently raid 25-man content Monday through Thursday, 7-11 server. 10-man content is optional, and will be scheduled either after 25 man content is cleared or outside normal raid times.

Raid Attendance

Members and initiates have access to the Raid Attendance forum, in which they are required to post in advance whenever they will be unable to attend a raid. While we seek to be accommodating to the business and personal lives of our members, it is expected of all raiders to respect the time and expectations of their guildmates by keeping them informed.

Raid Preparation

Just as members are expected to make intelligent choices regarding gear, spec, and rotations, raiders are expected to be prepared to maximize their character with all beneficial consumables and items when requested.

Raid Conduct

The primary goal of raiding for SP is to have fun as a guild – efficient progression is a means to that end. While buffing up or clearing trash, members must be focused at all times on their role, but the atmosphere is typically quite social. When it is time for boss fights, all unrelated discussion must stop, vent communication is restricted to the raid leaders, and any important fight information they have requested to hear from members.
Whether it is a wipe or a kill, raid leaders will seek to solve any problems observed, and members are expected to be upfront about mistakes or ways to improve their own performance. Unconstructive criticism, condescension, and negativity will absolutely not be tolerated.

DKP

SP uses a bidding system for DKP, with boss kills awarding fixed amounts, and item costs reflecting the value of the item to each player. For a complete explanation of the system and rules, see the DKP page (Under Construction).

Contact Us

If you have any questions about SP, feel free to contact Shamgarr, Centria, Placent, Femtaurcrio, Shinraeq, or Rickells ingame, or PM us on the forums.
